The Jewish allegation and reply of Jesus

 The story starts like this:

"Long long ago, it was a winter day and it was a feast of dedication in Jerusalem"

And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
John 10:22

 "and Jesus was in the temple area walking in Solomon's Colonnade."

And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
John 10:23

"The Jews gathered around him, saying, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly."" The complain was Jesus was not telling them plainly but he had spoken metaphorically all the time.

Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
John 10:24

And then he explained, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me," But he was not speaking plainly all the time,.even now

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.
John 10:25-26

All this time jesus was rushing around the crowd while answering them, and again he stared talking things that had misguided Jews



My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

John 10:27-
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
John 10:35

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, "Has it not been written in your Law, 'I SAID, YOU ARE GODS '?
